Bunny! Bunny! Bunny!
Thanks to Nathan for making our new banner last night (when he should have been sleeping). That picture was taken on our second day in San Francisco. We were shopping on Union Street and Anna just had to stop and say hi to the little hopping bunny toy. Now whenever she walks in the office and sees our computer she gets very excited and starts yelling to see the picture of the bunny :)

Crazy Hair
Just for laughs, here are a few pictures of Anna and her hair when she woke up this morning.

Yes, she does sometimes sleep with pink and purple rubber ducks...

I knew a bath would be in order to try and tame these wild curls, but I didn't expect her to come out even more curly! (she's just pretending to drink out of that water bottle :) Now she's got some sort of Elvis-esque forehead curl going on. Very stylish.

Home Sweet Home
Of course we have lots of good stories to share too, but they'll have to wait until we're back on track around here. For now, we still kind of feel like these seals we saw on the beach:

Busted
A busted lip that is. Today, after our Bible study get together, Ashley and I took the girls to a park to enjoy this nice sunny weather. They were running and playing and having so much fun going down the slides together. But in all of that excitement, Anna took a fall off of the stairs going up to the slides. It wasn't very high, and at first I thought she was screaming because it just scared her. But then I pulled her back and saw a mouth full of blood. Closer inspection revealed two little tooth marks in her bottom lip. We cleaned her up and she sucked on an ice cube for a while, but within minutes she was saying "Slide, wheeee!" and trying to run off and play again. On the way home I noticed it was a bit swollen but it seems to be going back down now and she is acting like her old self again :)

For Mom
Okay so my mom wants to know why I'm not posting more belly pictures on the blog. This one is for her but unfortunately you will all have to suffer. This picture was taken about 4 weeks ago, so just picture more roundness and you'll have an idea of what I look like now. Time is really flying. I can't believe I'll be 8 months next week!!
Anna was born at 38 weeks so I've decided to give the same deadline to Noodle. As of today he officially has 8 weeks to pack up and move out. But we have so much to do around the house I'm sure Nathan wouldn't mind if he were born, oh I don't know, 6 months late?

Little Bit
In my attempts to get ready for Noodle, I'm trying to organize as much as possible. Our office, which will soon be Noodle's bedroom, needs to be relocated to the basement, which is already full of it's own *treasures*. So today I went down and moved all of the baby stuff over to the storage side of the basement, but first I went through the 6 (!) plastic storage bins of Anna's clothes that she has already outgrown.
I didn't expect to find much that was gender neutral and for the most part I was swimming in a sea of pink pink pink and a lot of flowers. But I was able to find more than I expected. I pulled out some white onesies, some yellow and green t-shirts, gowns, and sleepers, and lots of socks. I even found two little hats for him. The funny thing is they were the gender neutral hats and gowns that I took to the hospital when I had Anna for the unlikely chance she might be a surprise boy.
Honestly a lot of these things were the things that Anna didn't wear that often, because I wanted people to know that the squishy little baby in my stroller was a GIRL! And I'm sure I'll want everyone to know that Noodle is a BOY too. But I must admit the thought of him wearing some of the same things that Anna wore is pretty sweet :) The closer it gets to his birth the more and more excited I am getting about their differences. But little is little and that is the most exciting part of all!
How little you ask? Here's a picture of a sock that Anna wore as a newborn, next to the socks she wears now. Aughhhhh, I can't wait!!!
